Cultural Considerations Workgroup

The Cultural Considerations Work Group (CCWG) first began meeting in October 2016. Membership currently includes 15 bilingual and/or culturally specific Wraparound practitioners (10 Care Coordinators, 5 Family Partners, and 1 Youth Partner) tasked with providing culturally specific consultation for Oregon Wraparound Best Practices.

Background information: This group values members that join this group with passion, experience, perspective/voice and are able to provide time to the work.

If you have someone that you are interested in bringing to the group please consider the questions (written by the group) provided below and fill them out to the best of your ability. These questions will provide more insight for the group to be able to decide on letting an individual join the Cultural Considerations Workgroup.

Please consider these questions with the individual you are hoping to join the CCWG:

• Why are we inviting them?
• Do they have Wraparound experience?
• What are their passions and interest in this work?
• Do they have time to do the work and be engaged?
• What do they bring to the table and how can they get involved?
