Description: |
This advanced training will focus on how to effectively utilize the CANS throughout the Wraparound process. Participants will learn how to make better use of CANS in their planning process including tracking of needs and strengths changing over time (Outcomes-Based principle). We will have several activities so that participants can practice with concrete examples. While this training is targeted toward Wraparound Care Coordinators who are responsible for completing the CANS, we encourage all Wraparound practitioners attending to develop a common understanding of the CANS and all aspects of using CANS ratings in order to best support youth, families, and their team members. NOTE: Advanced trainings refer to the trainings’ content advancing beyond what is learned in the foundational training, not to it being for individuals with advanced knowledge or experience on the topic. |
