This training will focus on developing and enhancing practitioners’ knowledge and skills specific to supporting transition-age youth in Wraparound. Participants will gain a better understanding of what is different about working with transition age youth, tools for shifting to a youth-driven, family-guided approach to the Wraparound process, and strategies for addressing team members’ concerns about youth-driven Wraparound. The training will also cover specific techniques for engaging transition-age youth and supporting them during meetings, with opportunities for participants to discuss, practice and ask questions. NOTE: Advanced trainings refer to the trainings’ content advancing beyond what is learned in the foundational training, not to it being for individuals with advanced knowledge or experience on the topic. |
