This advanced training will focus on developing and enhancing practitioners’ knowledge and skills on how to best support youth who use substances or experience addiction. Practitioners will receive an overview of youth substance use and addiction, an understanding of how treating substance use and addiction in youth fits into the Wraparound process, and recommendations for addressing common conflicts related to substance use and addiction in Wraparound. NOTE: Advanced trainings refer to the trainings’ content advancing beyond what is learned in the foundational training, not to it being for individuals with advanced knowledge or experience on the topic. |
